Local information

Gardening in Newport East

Newport East covers 14 city wards, from Caerleon and Malpas down to Pillgwenlly, Lliswerry and Llanwern. Newport City Council runs them all, so one set of bin rules applies. Garden waste goes in an orange-lidded bin, emptied every three weeks until mid-December. The city's single household tip is on Docks Way, and every visit needs a booked 15-minute slot. Goods vans of any size are refused at the gate.1 2 3 4
