About Us
A real gardening round, and the system behind it
Who we are
Built from the van,
Built from the van,
not a boardroom
Shear Power began as a gardening round in Swansea, and it still is one. The awkward parts of that job — quoting after work, organising the round, chasing payments, keeping customers in the loop — are what our software was built to fix.
Today that system runs local gardening businesses: online quotes and booking, card payments, the schedule and customer accounts, with one licensed operator for each area. Homeowners use it to find a local gardener and book online, and independent gardeners can list their own business free.
There are 649 areas across the UK and 3,144 across the US, each with room for one licensed operator.
