Cambridgeshire's centres are for residents' own household waste and turn away business loads.

  • Sites refuse waste from businesses and from tradespeople working at a customer's home.
  • Landlords may only attend when accompanying tenants with their own household waste.
  • Staff log every e-permit van visit and check the type and amount of waste.
  • The county says accepting business waste could put the site licences at risk.
  • Gardeners carrying cuttings need a waste carrier registration and a licensed disposal site.
