I worked for a tree and shrub nursery during my school holidays which I found interesting, This lead to me getting a full time job with the national youth scheme at the nursery where I also attended Myerscough college to learn about horticulture, gardening and landscaping. From there onwards I wanted to set up my own business. I went onto working for a landscape contractor and then ground working often doing small landscaping and gardening jobs in my spare time. Eventually I had a waiting list of customers and decided to take the plunge and set up on my own. I really enjoy my working for myself and have never looked back.

Are they insured, do they have photos or examples of their work, do they have references or customers that they can contact. Ask how they would go about tidying their garden. Initial garden tidy up followed by regular maintenance to make improvements by pruning overgrown trees & shrubs, edging off the lawns, introducing new planting and mulching the borders to keep the weeds down. Regular lawn treatments to keep the grass weed free and lush green.

I drive a large van with a trailer which contains all the tools we nerd for every job, we can take waste away too.
